UAE Firms Hiring New Staff At Job Fair

Dubai: Hundreds of government and private companies in the UAE will be showcasing this week a number of employment opportunities for people looking to get a new job.

Recruiters and hiring managers from organisations in banking, hospitality, real estate and education sectors will meet with candidates and discuss available jobs at the annual Careers UAE from March 13 to 15 at the World Trade Centre.

Among those who will be offering vacancies  at the three-day job fair are the Central Bank of the UAE, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), Emaar, Emirates, Rotana, Majid Al Futtaim, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Mashreq, UAE Exchange and many more.

Careers UAE is a national platform that enables applicants in all fields to come face-to-face with recruiters and hiring managers. The vacancies, however, are open only to Emirati nationals.

Vacancies will vary from one company to another, but those who are interested to join organisations like the UAE Central Bank are assured that they will “get to work in a diverse and dynamic environment."

The three-day event is organised by the Dubai World Trade Centre, in partnership with TANMIA (Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.)

The UAE government had earlier launched the Emiratisation campaign, which seeks to increase the number of Emiratis in the labour sector, particularly in private companies.
