Vienna tournament was the 16th European host nation for the organization, and 35th globally

Bahrain-based Mixed Martial Art (MMA) promotion company BRAVE Combat Federation (CF) cemented its position as the industry leader in European MMA as it debuted in Austria, holding a major tournament.

Hosting of ‘BRAVE CF 90’ on November 23 in Vienna made Austria the 16th European host nation for the organization, extending its world record, the MMA company said.

“Held in association with the leading local promotion Sparta CF, BRAVE CF 90 went down into the books as the biggest event in Austrian MMA history,” it said.

BRAVE CF’s debut in Austria followed the organization’s events in Northern Ireland, England, Romania, Slovenia, Sweden, Russia, Belarus, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Bulgaria in Europe.

“Across these nations, BRAVE CF has managed to create not only a sports structure but also an economic framework through which European MMA has thrived,” the company said in a media release.

Big names in the MMA world such as Austrian superstar and BRAVE CF alumnus Ismail Naurdiev, alongside Islam Dulatov and Serbian star Aleksandar Rakic, attended the Vienna event.

Beyond its impact in Europe, BRAVE CF said it has been focused on bringing a new era for MMA globally, with the organization hosting events in 35 nations since its inception.

BRAVE CF will return to its home base in the Kingdom of Bahrain for BRAVE CF 91 on December 13, headlined by the Bantamweight title fight between Nkosi Ndebele and Nicholas Hwende.
