The match will determine the winner of four belts, including:

  • World Boxing Association (WBA)
  • World Boxing Council (WBC)
  • International Boxing Federation (IBF)
  • World Boxing Organization (WBO)

The winner of the fight will become the first undisputed heavyweight world champion.

Notably, there has not been an undisputed heavyweight champion for 25 years.

The last time this title was held was in 1999 when the champion only held three of the four organization belts: WBC, WBA, and IBF.

Now, the WBO belt has been added for the first time in the era of the four belts, making the upcoming match historic.

These belts hold significant importance in the world of boxing, symbolizing the achievements of legends like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

Both Fury and Usyk aspire to leave their mark in history alongside these boxing greats.

This match will be the first time that all four belts will be unified in a single match, representing the pinnacle of competition in modern boxing and carrying on the legacy of past boxing champions.
